A Groundhand is required to preform heavy physical duties on a variety of tasks, which are generally semi-skilled in nature. Groundhand duties will vary depending on the types of work assigned to crew.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Haul brush and wood from the tree to the truck, assisting the tree climber, using ropes, various hand and power tools, and cleaning the job site.

• Work with takedown crews to ensure good communication between the crew.

• Function as a member of a tree crew while progressively learning new skills.

-Operate chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, and other equipment as needed on jobsite.

• Maintain issued personal gear, crew gear, and equipment
