HS Social Studies Teacher

QUALIFICATIONS:

BA, Iowa Teacher's Certification are required; 5-12 All Social Sciences Endorsement preferred. Previous K-12 teaching experience is prefered, but not required

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Demonstrate the ability to enhance academic performance and support for and implementation of the Districts student achievement goals Meet and instruct assigned classes Use research-based instructional strategies to deliver instruction that meets the multiple learning needs of all students Create a classroom environment that is conductive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interest of all students Encourage students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior
