Major solar manufacturer is seeking top in Jacksonville. Located in West Jacksonville, FL we are look for a EHS technician to work the overnight shift. This incumbent will be a part of the EHS Department supporting the whole operation. Key skills we are looking for are 3-5 years of experience within EHS, saftey focused, and support a population of over 400 employees.

Job Title: EHS technician

Location: West Jacksonville, FL

Pay Range: $21.00 an hour

What’s the Job?

• Assist project management with methods to improve safety and environmental practices and procedures

• Provide technical and professional assistant to eliminate or control unsafe behaviors/conditions and environmental deficiencies.

• ASsists with the preparation and review of Toolbox talks, and Personal protective equipment assessments.

What’s Needed?

• Knowledge of EPA and OSHA regulation and industry EH&S Standards.

• Knowledge in electrical safety and high voltage including OSHA and NFPA 70E compliance.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
