Our treatment setting is intimate with a high staff to client ratio, and an emphasis on individual therapy and highly individualized treatment.

Monte Nido East Bay, located in Lafayette, CA is a residential treatment program exclusively for adults seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. Monte Nido’s treatment approach focuses on the restoration of physiological and nutritional balance, implementation of healthy eating and exercise routines, elimination of harmful behaviors, and development of motivation and treatment engagement. Our objective is to help each client achieve a clear understanding of their eating and/or exercise disorder and its effect on their life, as well as an individualized appreciation of what is necessary for their personal recovery.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct initial Psychiatric evaluations and weekly follow-up sessions to include psychotropic medication management.

  • Maintain current and proper progress notes.

  • Collaborate with the full treatment team as needed and provide patient-specific input for Discharge Planning.

  • Communicate with referring providers and family members as appropriate.

  • Maintain compliance with all standards set by agencies with oversight of this facility.

Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited program.

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in General/Adult Psychiatry at minimum; Completion of Child/Adolescent Fellowship preferred.

  • Active and unrestricted Medical License (or license-eligible).

  • Comfort working in both outpatient and inpatient settings is very helpful.

  • Must hold BLS/CPR prior to starting work; we can arrange training if needed.
