The Intake Clnician of Inpatient Rehab and Swingbed Services evaluates patients referred for inpatient rehabilitation services and determines appropriateness of admission. Works with interdisciplinary care team to establish care plan. Completes and files paperwork related to admission upon intake. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Associate's degree, prefer certification as a registered nurse. At least 2 years of experience.

Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Required knowledge of Medicare and non-Medicare payor sources and pre-authorization process. Excellent computer skills and communication skills are necessary.
