Robert Half is offering a unique opportunity for a Contract Purchasing Coordinator in the medical industry, based in Portland, Oregon. This role focuses on managing a variety of duties related to inventory and logistics.

Responsibilities:

• Manage pre-purchases, backorders, returns, and warranty devices, ensuring efficient operations

• Handle data entry for serial numbers and confirm work orders, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail

• Coordinate with internal staff and providers on device statuses and backorders, facilitating smooth communication and operations

• Handle invoicing, vendor coordination, incoming packages, and shipping packages to patients, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook to track inventory and manage logistics, demonstrating proficiency in these tools

• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction

• Manage the stockroom, ensuring it is well-organized and stocked

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a customer service role required

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

• Knowledge of logistics and stockroom management highly preferred

• Ability to handle invoices and maintain equipment inventory

• Excellent communication and coordination skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks

• Ability to work independently Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision making

• High level of organization and ability to prioritize tasks
