Position: Senior Manager, Learning Portfolio Operations

Location : Princeton Pike, New Jersey

Position Summary:

At BMS, the Enterprise Learning Organization is helping BMS build an enterprise workforce that is capable of accelerating future growth. We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Manager, Learning Portfolio Operations to join our Strategy & Business Operations team. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and successfully delivering complex transformation initiatives for the Enterprise Learning Organization. You will collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure project scope is met and on time with the highest level of quality. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale initiatives, exceptional leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support multiple projects’ priorities, dependencies, scope, risks, and project resources in support of the learning and development transformation initiative.

  • Partner with functional teams and cross-functional stakeholders to drive learning transformation strategy and objectives in alignment with the BMS vision, mission, value, and delivering on time, on budget, and on scope.

  • Communicate and report key updates to stakeholders and risk escalations to the Enterprise Learning leadership team.

  • Ensure projects adhere to transformation strategy, and documentation and milestone criteria meet project management standards.

  • Support cross-functional meetings for transformation projects, BMS functional teams, and Learning governance.

  • Build and maintain project related documentation including project and communication plans.

  • Ownership and support of related SharePoint, MS Teams Channels, and other relevant management tools, communication, and project tracking systems.

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing project team environment, providing guidance and support to team members.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.

  • Experience working in a consulting firm desired but not required

  • Proven experience successfully delivering complex projects.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional working teams.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.

  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with multiple senior internal stakeholders and to facilitate/coordinate highly visible and time-sensitive enterprise strategy projects.

  • Experience in Life Sciences and Learning/Development is a plus.

  • Ability to build relationships and influence and drive organizational engagement across functions and sites.
