Immediately hiring a fleet mechanic!

Description:

Maintains service operations by inspecting and maintaining vehicles. Fleet Mechanic is responsible for servicing and maintaining all company owned vehicles, trucks, trailers, Thermo King.

Inspect, Test, and complete preventative maintenance such as, engine oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters, lighting, brakes, and HVAC.

Maintain vehicles by listening to operator complaints, conducting inspections, repairing engine failures, repairing mechanical and electrical system malfunctions, replacing parts and components.

Verifies vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives, adjusting controls and systems.

Complies with state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards, electronic troubleshooting, and repair by use of laptop.

Maintains vehicle records by recording service and repairs in the TMS program.

Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventative maintenance, calling for repairs.

Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, verifying receipt.

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications.

Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

3-5 years of vehicle/fleet maintenance

Ideally bring hand tools, they have all other tools needed for job

Refrigeration experience is a PLUS
