Job Overview: We are seeking a Collision Estimator to join our team in Wenatchee. As a Collision Estimator, you will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage and providing accurate estimates for repairs. This is a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the quality of our repair services. Training for this position will occur at the owner's second shop in Pasco as well as the Wenatchee location. Fuel expenses will be covered until complete relocation occurs. Duties: - Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to determine the extent of repairs needed - Explain our repair processes, including claims processing, payment procedures, repair techniques, and estimated repair durations. - Prepare detailed estimates for labor, parts, and materials required for repairs - Work with service technicians to ensure accurate assessment and completion of repairs - Maintain accurate records of estimates, invoices, and repair orders - Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and repair techniques General Requirements: - Previous experience in auto estimating or related field is preferred, but not required. - Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair processes - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written - Experience in auto service management is a plus - Mechanical knowledge of vehicles and their components - Proficient with computer software, with the ability to learn new programs. - Strong leadership skills The Ideal candidate will be someone with a familiarity in a body shop setting who is capable and willing to step into a management role.
